The NZ Dairy Cow

You may think I’m Daisy

But I’m not. I’m number 1 and there are many of us all over NZ.

We are majestic athletes.

I walk 2 kilometres a day or more and carry between 30 and 50 litres of milk to the parlour.

I take up two bales in the shed because I am a big Friesian cow, strong and healthy – sometimes weighing 650kg.

I produce up to 40-50 litres a day. My milk is produced and harvested to the best standards for the environment. I harvest the most nutritious grass on the planet each day in the beautiful NZ countryside.

I am looked after by the most dedicated, caring farmers in the world, also the best farmers in the world.

I have a fertility plan, an environment plan, a health and safety plan, a dairy sustainability plan and my water has a check plan, it’s A1.

I hear of things made in microwaves for you to eat or veges squeezed to death to get the juice out and call it milk. These are putting us majestic cows and wonderful farmers – the best in the world – at risk and these things could make you very sick.

I produce the most nutritious and delicious milk each day because I’m super healthy, strong and able. It could be A1 or A2 but I can assure you it’s pure gold, healthy whatever your requirements and I also supply the best dairy company in the world.

Stick with Number 1 and the rest of us.

Stay healthy, stay strong, stay smart, drink plenty of milk and we can help each other.
